CES 2014: the first children’s Android tablet PCs based on Intel created in Association with DreamWorks

The company Fuhu, developer tablets and applications for children presented DreamTab oriented exclusively on children. The tablet was established under the joint project Fuhu, DreamWorks Animation. and Intel. It is designed to assist children in learning, games and development. The new model will go on sale in June 2014. According to Intel, this is the first children’s Android tablet based on its technologies.

DreamTab DreamTab created on the basis of the new 64-bit processor Intel Atom Z3740 (Bay Trail) and provides long battery life. New running OS Android-based 4.4 KitKat and support NFC, touch screen and the ability to enter information using the stylus. In the new model, Fuhu will use the Blue Morpho, supporting new opportunities for education, games and development in a secure environment. It is interesting that it is presented in two versions – 8-inch and 12-inch. The display is made of IPS technology and has Full HD resolution. Also, the tablet comes with a 32 or 16 GB of memory. DreamTab will include the Wings Learning System company Fuhu and an interactive program Be an Artist (Creative Studio), developed specifically for the tablet. In the interactive studios kids can create your favorite characters from DreamWorks animation tools. Wings Learning System will also support training manuals based on Bluetooth technology, allowing to combine the advantages of online and offline training. Tablet DreamTab will go on sale in the U.S. in the spring of 2014, and then appear in other regions.
