MIPT the first among Russian universities posted lectures on iTunes U

Moscow Institute of physics and became the first Russian higher education institution that received the opportunity to place on iTunes U materials. Currently available first two courses: physics and theoretical physics. All the materials are written in Russian and are free for download. According to Taras Pustovogo, head of the laboratory of innovative educational technologies MIPT, in the near future, the Institute will download on iTunes U all 6 semesters of physics which teach students in MIPT.

MIPT on iTunes U, moreover in the nearest time will start the first Russian-language course on physics at MIPT known educational resource Coursera (at the end of last year MIPT became a partner Coursera). And the students Phystech have the opportunity to gain additional knowledge on the core disciplines with the help of video lectures of the public Lectures of the MIPT, where now available in more than 35 courses in physics, mathematics, computer science and biology. Recall iTunes University is one of the most popular mobile educational applications, which has been downloaded more than a billion times. Through it you can get access to more than 500 000 educational materials (lectures, jobs, books, issues from various universities of the world. Until recently, the lectures of Russian universities in the iTunes U is not published but only a couple of weeks ago, the situation has changed and Apple has added support for additional countries, including Russia.
