Lenovo has sold a quarter more smartphones than computers

The world’s largest manufacturer of personal computers, Lenovo now sells more smartphones than PCs. As indicated in the financial report of the company, in the last quarter, it sold 15.8 million smartphones, but the computer is “just” 14.5 million.

However, despite the above successes, the main means Lenovo is still from the computer business. So, smartphones and tablets generated only 15% of revenue, but on laptops and computers-78%. The financial results for the first quarter (April-June 2014) net profit Lenovo amounted to $214 million (previous year – $174 million). Revenue was up by 18% and reached to $10.4 milliard.
