Intel plans to merge their mobile and PC units

It seems that Intel is ahead of another large-scale changes in its structure, which are designed to make the Corporation more efficient and less costly. According to the Wall Street Journal, citing an email sent to the General Manager, Intel Brian Kraniche (Brian Krzanich) to the employees of the company, the world’s leading chipmaker plans soon to join the units responsible for the production of products for personal computers and mobile gadgets.

At the head of the newly formed division called Client Computing Group plan to put Kirk of Skaugen (Kirk Skaugen), now the steering unit of the PC Client Group, and the Association should be held in early 2015. Thus, Intel, obviously, want to get rid of losses, which has for quite some time brings Mobile and Communications Group. This division is now responsible for the development of chips for smartphones and tablets, plus solutions for network equipment.
