Twitter keeps track of user installed applications

In the help center Twitter appeared information that the service will now collect information about the applications that a user installs on their mobile device. It says that it is made to offer users with more personalized content. In this case, Twitter promises that will not collect any data from the applications themselves, but will make a list of applications installed by the user. These data can be used to obtain improved recommendations of users with similar interests, adding to a feed of tweets, accounts, and other content that may be especially interesting to a particular user and, of course, display targeted advertising.

Besides, if he previously refused contextual advertising, enabling “Min. tracking ad.” on your iOS device or Disable the display of targeted advertising” on your Android device, then Twitter will not make a list of applications. Twitter notes that will notify the user about how to enable this feature in his account, showing the appropriate hint. Before this prompts the application list is not made.
