On Kickstarter was announced an interesting startup called AirBoard. Novelty is a Arduino-compatible Board, oriented to the creation of gadgets for the “Internet of things” (“Internet of Things”). AirBoard allows you to build a prototype device in a matter of minutes by connecting the desired sensors and modules. The Board has dimensions of 40 x 25 mm and bears the ATmega328P processor (8 MHz), the battery 150 mAh, USB port, led indicator, and a set of contacts for connecting external devices.
It should be noted that the novelty can make friends with one of the four wireless communication standards is necessary to choose between Bluetooth 2.1, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and XBee. Support is realized by connecting the external module. Also AirBoard boasts outstanding autonomy: the battery lasts for three years in standby mode, or six months in the case of moderate use.
