Canon has introduced a new lens for mirrorless camera EOS M EF-M 28mm f/3.5 IS STM Macro. According to the manufacturer, the world’s first lens with autofocus and integrated lighting Macro Lite.
Backlight allows you to take pictures from a close distance without shadows on the object and generally reduce the overall lighting of the frame. The lens has a focus distance up to 15 mm and weighs 130 grams. According to Canon, is the world’s lightest interchangeable macro lens for mirrorless cameras.
There is a system of optical image stabilization and a Super Macro mode with a magnification of 1.2 times. The lens has semileptonic aperture, focal length 45 mm (35 mm equivalent) and a STM motor for quiet focusing.
Canon EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM will go on sale in June at a price of 299 U.S. dollars.
