“Kaspersky’s laboratory” has warned about the vulnerability of Moscow’s traffic sensors

The sensors collect information such as the number of cars of different sizes in each lane and the average speed. Then the data are transferred in a single operating center. Based on the information collected creates a map of the main thoroughfares of the city. This map is updated weekly on the website TMS (Centre of road traffic organization).
Attackers can change the statistics by category of transport or speed, just damage the equipment. Sensors are present on the labels of manufacturer and installer, that allows you to easily find the documentation and to work with them. Because the sensor supports Bluetooth, cyber criminals can simply go up to him with the laptop and login. After that you can adjust the sensor readings and even modify the firmware with standard BY the manufacturer.
