The creators demonstrated Siri voice assistant Viv

The event Disrupt New York TechCrunch 2016 held the first demonstration of the voice assistant Viv. Work Viv showed Dag Kittlaus (Dag Kittlaus) and Adam Cheyer (Adam Cheyer), co-founders of the company Siri, bought by Apple in 2010.

Service Viv is positioned developers as a voice assistant is a new generation based on artificial intelligence with the possibilities of machine learning and integration with third-party services.
Like Siri, the assistant Viv will allow the user with a conversational tone to interact with various services. However, in its capabilities Siri Viv goes further, recognizing more complex voice requests, acting on the basis of the stored context of the conversation and able to learn. During the demonstration, the service was able to correctly process the question “Will it be warmer than 70 degrees near the Golden gate Bridge after 5 PM the day after tomorrow?” (rough translation: “Will it be warmer than 21 degrees the day after tomorrow after 5 PM around the Golden Gate?”). According to Kittlaus such would manage only selected voice system. In addition, Viv will give developers a platform to add additional services. At the moment integration is implemented with 50 services, such as ordering flowers, food, taxi, purchase of other goods and so on.
