Skype ends support for Windows Phone and old Android versions

The Skype team announced a new list of supported operating systems. Of the mobile platforms it includes iOS 8, Android 4.03, and Windows 10 Mobile.

Thus will no longer be supported, all versions of the operating system Windows Phone 8 and older, and Android versions older than Android 4.03. Their users will not be able to update Skype, new features and bug fixes.
In his message, the head of Skype, Microsoft said that Skype is now introducing many innovations, including application bots, and also acknowledged past problems, such as incorrect synchronization of messages between devices of the same user and delayed alerts.
