In addition to the powerful desktop Threadripper, AMD has announced a series of Ryzen Mobile processors at a meeting with Investors Financial Analyst Day. As it is not difficult to guess, Ryzen Mobile will include mobile chips on the Zen architecture for laptops.
Hybrid APUs called Raven Ridge will receive 4 cores, 8 streams, integrated Vega graphics. They are focused on hybrid tablets and laptops of ultraportable and gaming direction. AMD expects them to increase CPU performance by 50% and graphics – more than 40%, with half the power consumption compared to the predecessor – AMD A-series 7-th generation.
Release of processors AMD Ryzen Mobile is expected in the second half of 2017.
