The company E Ink demonstrated folding flexible display Carta Mobius based on electronic paper. The prototype has a diagonal of 10.2 inches, a density of 220 pixels per inch and looks like a regular book.
As a substrate, plastic is used instead of glass, which makes it possible to fold such a screen in half. At the bend point, you have to leave a gap to prevent damage to the screen. At the moment, based on such a folding display there are no officially presented devices, but E Ink stated that it is ready to start mass production.
