Huawei brought the first Huawei P40 series smartphones to the Russian market. The announcement of the flagship Huawei P40 has not yet taken place, but two inexpensive models are already becoming available to users in Russia – Huawei P40 lite and Huawei P40 lite E.
Huawei P40 lite is available in black and green colors at a suggested retail price of 19999 rubles. For comparison, in Europe, the model costs 299 euros, which is much more expensive in terms of the current exchange rate. Huawei P40 lite E is available in black and blue cases at a price of 12,999 rubles. In Europe, it costs $ 181. Smartphones will go on sale on March 27, and pre-orders can be issued on March 20. At the time of pre-order, customers are given gifts – smart bracelets Huawei Band 4 or Band 4 Pro. Also, until March 20, there is an action “Catch luck with Huawei,” which will allow users to win new smartphones.
Huawei P40 lite is equipped with a 6.4-inch Full HD + screen, SoC Kirin 810, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory, a main quad camera with a main 48-megapixel sensor, and a 4200 mAh battery. It is worth noting the presence of NFC and a headphone jack. The smartphone is running EMUI 10 with Android 10.
Huawei P40 Lite E has a 6.39-inch display with a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels, a triple camera with a main image sensor with a resolution of 48 MP, SoC Kirin 710F, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory, a 4000 mAh battery. The smartphone has an EMUI 9.1 shell based on Android 9 Pie.
At the same time, both smartphones use Huawei’s proprietary mobile services (HMS), which include the AppGallery application store instead of Google Play.
The flagship smartphones of the Huawei P40 series will be presented on March 26 in the online broadcast mode.
