At a special event in Berlin, Huawei introduced the expansion of the MateBook line, previously presented by a hybrid tablet based on Windows. One of the novelties, the MateBook D was previously known by the code name Watt and is a full-size 15.6-inch laptop.
The laptop is based on Intel Core i5 or i7 processors of the seventh generation, optionally on NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics, 4 or 8 GB of RAM, SSD or HDD up to 1 TB. IPS-display has a resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels).
Dual-band Wi-Fi (802 & 12 a / b / g / ac) and Bluetooth 4.1 are supported. From the ports there are two USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, full-size HDMI and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The dimensions are 358 x 239 x 16.9 mm, and the weight is 1.9 kg. The claimed battery life in the video playback mode is 8.5 hours. The notebook is available in gray, golden and blue colors. The timing of the issue and the estimated price have not been announced yet.
