Collaboration can lead to new breakthroughs in energy-efficient AI-based video enhancement technology for next-generation smartphones. The Swedish company Imint Image Intelligence AB (Imint), calling itself the world leader in video enhancement software, has teamed up with Qualcomm Technologies to develop a new Generations of video enhancement solutions that use the latest artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
Allegedly, through collaboration with Qualcomm, Imint intends to “set a new standard for smartphone camera capabilities with a set of AI-based solutions that will enable you to get professional-quality content using mobile devices.” In addition to imint and Qualcomm AI-based video enhancement solutions Technologies is also working to upgrade the existing suite of Imint Vidhance smartphones with a new technology that significantly reduces power consumption. Vidhance’s new energy-efficient solutions are optimized for use on the Qualcomm® Snapdragon 865 flagship mobile platform. The Vidhance package includes the components Vidhance Selfie Mode, Vidhance Super Stabilization, Vidhance Multi-Camera Transition and Vidhance Dynamic Motion Blur Reduction, which are already used by leading smartphone manufacturers, including Xiaomi, OPPO, OnePlus and Vivo.
