A couple of weeks ago, we learned that the One UI 2.1 shell, which is now available only for the flagship smartphones of the Galaxy S20 line, will later be released for the flagships of the past and even the year before last.
At that time, no deadlines were specified, but now sources say that the corresponding updates for the Samsung flagships of previous years are almost ready and will be released before the end of April. We’ll clarify – in this case we are talking about models of the Galaxy S10 line, but there is no new data about the rest.
At the same time, it is profitable for Samsung to upgrade smartphones to One UI 2.1 as quickly as possible, since the Quick Share feature is available in this version of the shell, which simplifies the process of sending large files to other devices. We also recall that the Korean giant is already working on the One UI 2.5 shell, which debuts on the Galaxy Note20.
