If the leakage turns out to be correct, then the smartphone will go on sale in the near future at a price of about 699,600 Korean won, that is, about 623 US dollars.
It is not yet clear how exactly the device will be named. According to different versions, Galaxy Note 7 can "reborn" as Galaxy Note 7R or Galaxy Note FE, which means Fan Edition, a publication for fans. As expected, sales of the restored Galaxy Note 7 can start in June 2017 in India and Vietnam. Recovered Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will receive batteries with a capacity of 3000-3200 mAh, which is less than the original, but explosive, 3,500 mAh. According to another version, the smartphone Galaxy Note 7R will be released with a 3200 mAh battery in Europe, the US and the Asia-Pacific region, but in a number of other regions it will receive a battery with a capacity of 3,500 mAh, and this will be a modified version of the original battery and a batch of such devices will be small. The devices will also acquire new cases, so the design may differ slightly from the original. All other hardware components will remain exactly as those of the original. In doing so, it will be released with the latest version of the operating system installed – Android 7.0 Nougat. The recall of defective Galaxy Note 7 in the fall of 2016 was unprecedented in scale for Samsung. As the investigation of the causes of ignition and self-explosion of smartphones showed, the explosions were due to the elements of power, or rather because of errors in their manufacture and problems with the technological process of assembly.
