Seagate calls IronWolf 510 world’s first PCIe SSD for enterprise NAS

Seagate Technology announces high-performance solid state drive for NAS multi-tenant environments. The novelty, designed to increase the speed of access to data, is called Seagate IronWolf 510. This is a M.2 size drive with PCIe Gen3 x4 interface that supports the NVMe protocol.
The line includes models with a capacity of 240 GB, 480 GB, 960 GB and 1.92 TB. They cost $ 120, $ 170, $ 320, and $ 540, respectively. The IronWolf 510 resource is valued at one full rewrite per day, and the mean time between failures is declared at 1.8 million hours. A five-year warranty is provided on drives.
