Sony has already promised to significantly improve the camera of the new flagship smartphone Xperia 1 II, which was announced at the end of last month as a successor to last year’s Xperia 1 model. When everyone around installed image sensors with resolutions up to 108 megapixels, Sony chose the installation of three 12-megapixel cameras with optics ZEISS. The company said it is working overtime to add several important features to the main camera and make it even more competitive. The first update will add automatic focus on the eyes, this will ensure that human faces in all images are in focus. In addition, the update will activate the video mode at 120 fps in 1920 x 1080 pixels or 60 fps in 4K resolution.
And last but not least, it’s adding a more advanced night mode for the main camera. These new features will appear in the flagship some time after its launch, which is scheduled for April in Japan.
