Jia Yueting, the Chinese billionaire and founder of LeEco, resigns from Leshi Director of Internet Information and Technology, the parent company. This was reported by the publication Reuters referring to the official application in the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
His post will be occupied by Liang Jun, who until now has been the company's vice-president. He joined LeEco in 2012, and was previously one of Lenovo's top managers. Jia Yuehtin, although he ceases to be a director, will continue to work as chairman of the board of directors of Leshi Internet Information and Technology. Such reshuffling was the result of a large-scale restructuring, designed to solve the company's recent problems with cash flow.
