BMW said the new generation of the 7 Series sedans will include four varieties: gasoline, diesel, hybrid and all-electric. At the same time, the last of the four will be the most powerful.
According to the leadership of the German automaker, its long-term goal is that different technologies coexist with each other. By 2023, the company hopes to offer 25 models of electric vehicles, including the iX3 crossover and i4 sedan, the concept of which was presented in early March. By the way, the 7th series will use the same fifth-generation BMW electric car technology as in the i4. The timing of the release of new “sevens” has not yet been named, but it is known that the current generation will not be removed from production until 2022.
