Despite the fact that the next-generation Nvidia graphics cards should appear soon enough, this does not mean that the current-generation models will cease to be immediately interesting, especially for younger adapters, since usually only the top solutions come out first. As it became known, Nvidia (or only its partners) decided to even strengthen the attractiveness of one of the models by releasing its new version.
A number of curious Asus 3D cards with the catalog numbers ROG-STRIX-RTX2060-O8G-EVO-GAMING, ROG-STRIX-RTX2060-A8G-EVO-GAMING and ROG-STRIX-RTX2060-8G-EVO-GAMING showed up in the EEC certification base. As you can see, in these numbers there is an indication of 8 GB of memory, which is uncharacteristic for the RTX 2060. Recall that the usual RTX 2060 has only 6 GB of memory. True, there is also the RTX 2060 Super, which has just 8 GB of memory, but it also has more CUDA cores and a higher price. It can be assumed that the new version of RTX 2060 with 8 GB of memory will cost as much as the regular version. And thus, this adapter will become more attractive than the current version, including on the background of the Radeon RX 5600 XT.
True, there is another option: the one who transferred the data to the EEC database skipped the letters S in the catalog numbers, and in fact all three new items are the usual RTX 2060 Super.
